Bone Knife

In the early days of the 2020 Global pandemic, Bone Knife emerged as a musical endeavor; the brainchild of Columbus musician David Ramsey. Inspired by the unique circumstances of lockdown and an abundance of time at his disposal, Ramsey embarked on a profound exploration of his musical aspirations, contemplating the precise direction his project should take. Punk Rock and indie were considered, but in the heart of Ohio, the decision was clear – it would be metal.

This pivotal moment gave rise to a musical entity, its inception akin to a blazing fire ignited amidst the haze and uncertainty of the times. With each passing day, it grew in strength and resilience. Like many bands, Bone Knife witnessed the ebb and flow of members, but it now stands as a united collective, resolute in its commitment to craft a sound characterized by its sheer weight and unwavering intensity.

The current lineup boasts the talents of David Ramsey, Travis Nichols, Brad Swackhammer, and Austin Burnside, each collectively crafting a sound that is both heavy and relentless, characterized by its density and pulsating energy.

Drawing from a blend of stoner rock, classic metal, and thrash metal influences, Bone Knife's musical odyssey remains an ongoing expedition, carving a distinctive trail through the intricate terrain of the metal genre and leaving an enduring impression upon those who bear witness.

Bone Knife is a revelation waiting to be explored.

Their discography includes "The Road Death Traveled" released in September 2021, and "Death Looks Good On You" which made its debut on February 24, 2023, under the banner of Punkerton Records.
