Middle-Out

Established in mid-2021, Middle-Out, formed by members from various other notable Detroit bands, united with a shared vision of infusing a more robust edge into their musical creations. Taking on dual vocal responsibilities, the band weaves together irresistibly catchy chorus hooks and searing guitar riffs, while their lyrical content delves into the melancholy of work life and the physical toll of aging, offering a relatable experience for contemporaries.

In September 2022, Middle-Out independently released their debut EP, titled 'Bender,' a six-track offering recorded in Ferndale, MI, by Chuck Huber at Drifting Sun Sound. The EP was then expertly mixed and mastered by Paul Miner at Buzzbomb Studios in Orange, CA. To complement their EP release, the band unveiled a lyric video for the track 'Escape my Past' and a full production video for 'Out Of Breath,' promising a unique perspective on Whirlyball.

In mid-September 2023, Middle-Out concluded an intensive week-long tracking session for their upcoming 12-song LP. The record was meticulously engineered, produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Nelson of Bricktop Recordings in Chicago, renowned for his work with Gridiron, Weekend Nachos, Fireworks, and Harms Way. Once again, the band entrusted Paul Miner with the mastering process. In December 2023, Middle-Out inked a deal with Punkerton Records, marking a pivotal milestone in their musical journey. Look for their 12-song LP in 2024.
